While working a contract at the University of Pittsburgh I designed and built an interactive housing and dining map that could display in two different sections of the website (housing services, dining services). There are two pages, but they only reference one code base for the map.
This was built using the Google Maps JavaScript API, JavaScript, PHP, and a little bit of Bootstrap and jQuery. The requirements were to have the map placed into the existing structures for housing and dining. Also, use Bootstrap to toggle the legend on mobile.
When I finished the product, I built a maintenance page for internal use. It was built to simplify the structuring of JSON, recording marker and polygon locations, and explain some of the inner workings of the interactive map.
