This is an interactive Google map for the University of Pittsburgh’s housing and dining locations. I built it using the Google Maps JavaScript API, JavaScript, PHP, and a little bit of Bootstrap and jQuery.
I also designed all of the icons. Be sure to click the Dining checkbox to turn on the dining markers to see those locations.
The data for all of the locations is structured as JSON. New locations can be set up and properly formatted using a tool that I built. You can see it in action here.
